Author Fees

The Indonesian Journal of Research and Educational Review (IJRER) is committed to maintaining high-quality peer-reviewed publishing under an Open Access model. All articles published in IJRER are made immediately and permanently available to the global academic community free of charge. To support digital infrastructure hosting, Crossref DOI registration, professional typesetting, plagiarism screening, and long-term digital archiving, IJRER applies a transparent Article Processing Charge (APC) structure. This journal charges author fees as follows:

1. Article Submission: 00 (IDR). Authors are NOT required to pay an article submission fee.
2. Article Processing Fee (APC)/Article Publication Fee: 600,000.00 (IDR) for Indonesian Author. APC applies to papers accepted after a peer review paid for by the author or their institution. Specifically for international authorpublication fees of 55 USD.
3. No Fast-Track Peer Review: In accordance with the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), IJRER strictly prohibits fast-track review options or priority publication in exchange for monetary payment. Editorial Independence: Peer review and editorial acceptance decisions are based solely on scientific merit, originality, and methodological validity. Editorial board members and peer reviewers have no access to payment details, and APC payments have zero influence on editorial decisions.
4. Historical APC Context & Financial Transparency: 2021–2023 Period: IJRER operated as a fully subsidized journal with zero publication fees for all authors. 2024–Present Period: To enhance production quality, expand global indexing reach, and ensure sustainable open-access dissemination, a nominal APC was introduced for accepted manuscripts. Payment Timing: APC invoices are issued only after the Editor-in-Chief issues an official Formal Acceptance Letter. Refund Policy: Once an article is published, the APC is non-refundable. If an article is retracted due to author misconduct or ethical violations post-publication, no refund will be granted.
