Pelatihan Ceramah Pada Komunitas Pemuda di MA Hayfa Islamic Boarding School Kota Samarinda

Abstract

This Community Service (PKM) activity aims to enhance the capabilities of youths at MA Hayfa Islamic Boarding School, Samarinda City, in delivering religious lectures that are systematic, communicative, and persuasive, while aligning with Islamic values ​​and the context of Indonesia's diversity. The initiative was motivated by the observed lack of self-confidence, public speaking skills, lecture material preparation abilities, and proficiency in using digital technology for *dakwah* (religious outreach) among the youth. The implementation methods included observation and coordination, outreach, material presentation, interactive discussions, practical lecture sessions, digital technology application, mentoring, and evaluation. Participants received training on effective communication techniques, lecture material structuring, the use of communicative language, the integration of Quranic and Hadith references, and the utilization of smartphones, simple editing apps, and social media to support digital *dakwah*. The results indicate that the program was executed systematically and garnered active participation from both the school and the students. Over 80% of the participants were able to deliver lectures independently with a sound structure, communicative language, and appropriate integration of Quranic and Hadith references. The activity also boosted the youths' self-confidence, public communication skills, and readiness to become preachers who are adaptable to technological advancements. This program is expected to foster a new generation of preachers who are moderate, communicative, and tolerant, and capable of contributing to the religious and social life of the community.
