Analisis Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif Murid Sekolah Dasar melalui Pemecahan Masalah Matematika

Kemampuan berpikir kreatif murid sekolah dasar di Indonesia masih tergolong rendah, padahal keterampilan ini sangat penting dalam pembelajaran matematika abad ke-21. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat kemampuan berpikir kreatif murid kelas III sekolah dasar melalui pemecahan masalah matematika, serta menganalisis perbedaan strategi pemecahan masalah yang digunakan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif, dilaksanakan pada bulan April 2026 di SDN Pademonegoro, Sidoarjo. Partisipan terdiri dari guru dan murid kelas III fase B Kurikulum Merdeka. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes, wawancara, angket, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen tes berupa lembar denah matematika dengan lima soal cerita terbuka berbasis konteks kehidupan sehari-hari pada materi operasi perkalian bilangan bulat. Kemampuan berpikir kreatif dianalisis menggunakan indikator Torrance yang meliputi kefasihan, keluwesan, dan kebaruan, serta tahapan pemecahan masalah Polya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar murid kelas III masih berada pada tingkat tidak kreatif. Murid belum mampu menyelesaikan pertanyaan divergen dan cenderung terbiasa dengan soal rutin bersifat prosedural. Hanya satu murid yang dikategorikan sangat kreatif dengan kemampuan memahami masalah, merencanakan, dan melaksanakan pemecahan masalah secara sistematis. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penerapan soal terbuka secara lebih intensif dalam pembelajaran matematika untuk merangsang kreativitas murid secara optimal.
